Let's Go On An Adventure with The Cosmic Psychos

I could say there is a deep meaning to this but that would be a lie. Pop a cold one and enjoy.

"Fat Music For Fat People" - Compilation Albums Are A Gateway Drug

Back in November of 1994 myself and a bunch of other "kids", most whom weren't old enough to legally buy alcohol, sucked down some 40s in the parking lot of the Capital Bar in Omaha, NE before paying $10 at the door to see NOFX, Face to Face, and Ten Foot Pole. During one of the breaks between bands, I wandered over to the merch table thinking about buying a something. I picked up a CD that said, "Free" and flipped it over to find this track list.

1. Propagandhi - Anti-Manifesto
2. Lagwagon - Know It All
3. Strung Out - In Harm’s Way
4. Guns 'N' Wankers - Skin Deep
5. No Use For A Name - Feeding The Fire
6. Bracket - 2RAK005
7. Tilt - Weave And Unravel
8. face to face - You’ve Got A Problem
9. Good Riddance - United Cigar
10. 88 Fingers Louie - Blink
11. Rancid - Just A Feeling
12. Lagwagon - Mr. Coffee
13. Propagandhi - Homophobes Are Just Pissed ‘Cause They Can’t Get Laid
14. NOFX - Kill All The White Man

Whether that looks impressive to you or not now, it was impressive to me. I looked at Fat Mike, lead singer for NOFX who was working the merch table(He wasn't a rock star yet.), and said, "Free?" He replied with something like, "Isn't it cool?" "Yes, thanks!" I then went and found my friends and showed them. They left their perches quickly to get their own copies. Just to further date this story, some opted for cassette tapes.

This morning, while sifting through emails and drinking coffee, one of the Propagandhi tracks from this album this came on. It was appropriate 26 years ago and still is today. If you want to get a copy, Fat Mike's label, Fat Wreck Chords, is charging $4 for the CD + Digital copy now or just $3 for the Digital version: here

Anyway, here's the Propaghandi song. Enjoy.
